SAFEGUARDING AND WELFARE
At Laleham FC, the safety, well-being, and happiness of every player, coach, and volunteer are our top priorities. As a community football club, we are committed to providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment where everyone can enjoy the game with confidence.
Our Commitment
We believe football should be a positive experience for all, regardless of age, ability, or background. That’s why we follow The FA’s Safeguarding Children Policy & Procedures and ensure our practices meet the highest standards of welfare and protection.
Key Safeguarding Principles
✅ Safe & Inclusive Environment – We promote respect, fairness, and equality on and off the pitch.
✅ Qualified Coaches & Volunteers – All coaches and volunteers undergo DBS checks and receive safeguarding training.
✅ Listening to Our Players – We encourage open communication and empower young people to speak up about any concerns.
✅ Clear Reporting Procedures – We have a Club Welfare Officer (CWO) to handle safeguarding matters confidentially and effectively.
